Booking Deposit is required before the confirmation. (non-refundable, online transfer only)
Basic rate is required upon car collection. (Cash or Online transfer only)
“Security Deposit is required upon car collection (20% of total Basic rate, Cash or Online transfer only) and is refundable after 7 working days if no any summons or damage incur.”
Variable cost is to be paid upon return the car or deduct from security deposit.
Delivery & Collection Service
Rental vehicles should be picked up and returned to LnK office. However, LnK provides free delivery within johor bahru area only (8am-10pm). Other than the said area and timing,
delivery will be made on request only and subject to charges. Rates will be provided at the time of enquiry or confirmation of booking.
As Singaporean can only drive the Malaysia registered vehicle in Malaysia. So if renter has no transport to collect car in Malaysia. We can arrange a driver to pick up in Sg to JB then the
renter starts renting until end of the trip and we will arrange a driver to send back to SG. Additional charges SGD170.
Driving License – Min & Max Age
The Renter and authorized drivers shall be at minimum ages of 21 years and maximum ages of 65 years old. A driver must possess a valid, current local Malaysian driving license or an
international Driving permit with qualified experience of at least one year.
Probationary drivers are not permitted. (“P” license holders).
Renter shall provide driver’s photocopy of driving license and passport upon booking for insurance purposes.
Additional Renter’s Drivers
The rental vehicle is normally only insured for the person who makes the rental. If others plan to drive the car, they must be present at time of rental to be added to the Rental Agreement,
subject to presenting a full driver’s license that has been held for at least one year. There is a fee to driver over the duration of the rental. Maximum up to 3 persons , except Group D,E
only one driver is allowed. RM10.60 per person (inclusive of 6% goods & services tax), per rental will be charged.
Insurance coverage of unlimited liability for death or injury to third parties liability up to RM 1 million. In the event of any damage or loss caused to the rental vehicle by the Renter,
irregardless of whether Renter is at fault or not, the Renter is liable to pay the full including loss of use as determined by LnK. In the case of major damaging happened to LnK’s vehicle
that require LnK to claim compensation from Insurance Company, then the time spend on claiming from the Insurance company and sending for repairing would have resulting losses to
LnK. The Renter is liable to pay the full cost losses to LnK as determined by LnK.
However, with the coverage of CDW, LnK shall be entitled to charge the Renter a maximum excess fee as per the vehicle group each time the vehicle is damaged, irregardless of
whether Renter is at fault or not.
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW)
Collision Damage Waiver is provided to Renter to reduce the excess liability to minimal. For example, should Renter intentionally or unintentionally causes damage to LnK’s vehicle,
Renter is liable to pay the excess which can be reduced as per detailed below:

Example of Excess liability
This is the first amount you have to pay when you make a claim.
Total repair cost = RM10,000
Excess = RM7,000
This means your insurer covers RM3,000 out of the total repair cost, and you, the insured pays RM7,000 (Excess).
But what happens if your damage cost is RM1,000, and your agreed upon excess amounts is still RM7,000?
Well in this case, the excess is not factored in. Which means, Renter will be required to pay the full damage cost of RM1,000..
Notwithstanding to the above CDW shall not cover the following events:
Where LnK is not informed and a police report is not lodged within 24 hours from the time of accident/incident to the Vehicle;
The Renter is in breach of the terms and conditions of the Rental Agreement;
Loss items, accessories, and any damage claims arise out of drunkenness and/or drug intoxication driver.
Where the loss, damage or theft is caused intentionally, or due to gross negligence of the Renter or an authorised driver.
In the event of vehicle theft, The Renter will be liable for the market value of the vehicle. However, this amount could be reduced to the excess amount as per CDW due to the rates are
inclusive of Vehicle Theft Cover. The premise is the Renter still hold the original vehicle key.
We strongly recommend that Renter to purchase a personal travel insurance policy prior to the commencement of holiday. LnK shall not be responsible for any loss or damage as a result
of trip cancellation, personal baggage, personal accident, injury or illness.
Extension of Rental / Excess Hours
Should the Renter intends to extend the rental beyond the original confirmed date, Renter must inform LnK so as to extend the insurance coverage.
Rental rates are calculated on a 24 hour basis and should a rental exceed the agreed duration, for each completed hour, a charge is levied based on 1/8 of the daily rental rate. Eg. Basic
Daily rental rate is RM200, for each completed hour is RM200/8=RM25 per hour
The Renter accepts responsibility to repair and change to new original parts at current market price plus labors on items that are damaged, lost or stolen during the period of rental. The
possibility of such incident would be as follows:-
– scratches on car body which have to be repaint
– minor or major damaged on all front & rear lamps
– broken / smash windshield, window glass & wiper
– damaged on car seats (eg. Cigarettes burn marks, stains, etc.)
– fender & bumper bend or fall out
– any missing & damaged items relating to the car
Renter must always make sure the vehicle’s water temperature is always at normal level. Should Renter encounters water heating or temperature rise, stop the car immediately at a
safety area and contact our response team (+60197909080). For long distance drive, hirer must regularly check the water level and add in water if needed of the rented vehicle.
Renter agrees in case of accident during the term of the rental of:
i. Obtaining the name and the addresses of the parties involved and witness.
ii. Not abandoning the said vehicle without adequate provisions for safeguarding and securing the vehicle.
iii. Giving a detailed report including diagram to LnK immediately.
The said vehicle shall not be operated:
i. In motor sports events, including racing, rallying and speed testing (out of normal vehicle usage).
ii. In off road conditions.
iii. By any person under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
The Renter is liable for all interior upholstery if vehicle is returned with dirtied interiors.
The Rental is also liable for all interior and exterior damages and / or defects caused which do not fall within the normal usage of the vehicle.
The Renter is liable for all damages to instruments, knobs and fitting in the vehicle.
Lost or Broken of Parts or Accessories:
“The Renter is liable for all missing, stolen or broken parts during the rental period or vehicle returns unless the rental vehicle is damaged at the same time during an accident.”
For example: Spare tires, rims, tools & jacks, lamp, audio set, gear lock, lighter, wiper, switch & control button, mats, rear view mirror and side view mirror, sun visor, headrest and etc.
Lost or damage of the above supplementary parts or accessories will be the responsibility of the Renter.
Loss of Vehicle keys/ Duplicate of Vehicle Keys:
“The Renter is liable for all replacement cost which includes a new set of keys and security system and or whatever items pertaining to the loss of
vehicle keys and vehicle alarm system.”
Loss of Belongings:
LnK is not liable for any missing, broken, stolen of the Renter’s belongings during vehicle returns for servicing and maintenance. The Renter is advisable to remove their valuable
belongings during vehicle returns for servicing and maintenance. For example: Laptop, watches, sunglass, notes, coins, touch & go, shoes, smart tag and others.
The minimum requirement for petrol is N97, (except Hyundai Starex is Diesel) no requirement for petrol station, you may pump any station you prefer.
The rental vehicle should be delivered with a full tank and returned by renter with a full tank. A refuelling surcharge of RM50 will be levied for the rental vehicle returned with less fuel
than when originally rented out.
“Renter and all passengers shall not smoke while using vehicles rented from LnK. A sum of RM500 shall apply to remove the cigarettes odors and disinfect the interior of the vehicles.”
In the event of Car Breakdown. Renter may contact our 24 hour helpline immediately so that we are able to assist you depending on the situation, a replacement vehicle will be provided
subjected to availability. However, if the breakdown is due to punctured tires, loss of key, forget to off the headlight which causes the battery to flat or empty petrol tank. There will be a
surcharge (From RM200 depends on area and situations) and the cost of replacing parts will be the responsibility of the Renter. (eg. Battery, Replacement key, Petrol and Changing
Parking Fees & Traffic Fines
The renter is liable for all parking and traffic summonses incurred for the duration of the rental. An additional RM10.60 per summon administration fee (inclusive of 6% goods & services
tax) will be charged to the renter over and above any fine and penalty cost for any violation arising from renter’s use of the vehicle.
Upon return, the rental vehicle has to be in the same condition as when it was rented. Failing which, the Renter will be liable for the cost of restoring the vehicle to its original condition.
Please check the vehicle condition with LnK Representative and ensure the dents / scratches are noted in the vehicle checklist to avoid dispute.
Restriction Area & Road
“All LnK vehicles are not allowed to be driven into Labuan, Langkawi, Singapore and Thailand. All LnK vehicles are not for use in off-roads, unsealed or unmade roads or surfaces.
One Way Rental
Should the vehicle returned at a different city location, one way rental would be applied. Fee is from RM265 (inclusive of 6% goods & services tax).
Rental Alternatives / Cancellation
LnK reserves the right to cancel any rental prior to commencement for any reason whatsoever. The company may, if it so chooses, recommend an alternative vehicle to Renter,
preferably of the same category. Should Renter decides not to accept the alternative, all monies paid by Renter will be refunded in full without further obligation or liability on the part
of The Company.
Late Payment Penalty
“When a payment for long term rental is not received within 3days, a 5% penalty can be imposed to the Renter. The vehicle will be towed away. Additional RM200 towing fee apply.”
Past due accounts are eligible to be passed to RAM Credit Information Sdn. Bhd. (RAMCI) for recovery purpose. Accounts passed to RAMCI will be listed on their Trade Bureau datebase. This listing may impact the ability of the customer to secure further credit facilities.
